Common left Shoulder Conditions We Treat

  • Shoulder Tendinopathy
Degeneration or inflammation of shoulder tendons, particularly the rotator cuff tendons, causing pain with movement and reduced shoulder function.
  • Subacromial Impingement Syndrome
Compression of tendons and bursa between the humeral head and acromion process during arm elevation, causing pain and restricted movement, particularly when reaching overhead.
  • Rotator Cuff Tear
Partial or complete tear of one or more of the four rotator cuff tendons, resulting in shoulder weakness, pain, and difficulty with lifting and rotating the arm.
  • Shoulder Instability
Excessive movement of the humeral head within the glenoid fossa, causing a sensation of the shoulder "giving way" or feeling loose during activities.
  • Shoulder Dislocation or Subluxation
Complete displacement (dislocation) or partial displacement (subluxation) of the humeral head from the glenoid socket, often resulting in pain, deformity, and functional impairment.
  • Bursitis (Subacromial or Subdeltoid)
Inflammation of the fluid-filled bursae that cushion the shoulder joint, causing localized pain, swelling, and tenderness, particularly with overhead movements.
  • Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis)
Progressive stiffening and pain of the shoulder joint due to inflammation and thickening of the joint capsule, leading to significant restriction in both active and passive range of motion.
